Goofs: Anachronisms: After Andy escapes, we see him driving alone in a red convertible on a coastal highway. While he escaped in 1966, the car is clearly a 1971 or 1972 Buick Centurion. This is noticeable from the shape of the car, the tail lights, the chrome “release” button on the back of the front bucket seat, and the steering wheel. Additionally, it has to be a ‘71 or ‘72 because it does not have the 5 mph impact rear bumper that the government mandated starting in 1973.
